Lashes For Day’s.

Finding the right mascara can sometimes take as long as watching every season of Grey’s Anatomy (forever and a day), and even when you think you have found your holy grail mascara, there is always a flaw that makes you second guess it. I have been a personal victim of this vicious cycle.Since the age of 14 I have always felt naked without mascara, I have been on a never ending journey to find the perfect mascara. During this journey I have come quite close to thinking I had discovered the one, but alas I have been let down by smudge lines, flakey lashes, colour not dark enough, even colour that is too dark, “longwear” lies and horrible application brushes.

Still to this day, seven years later, I am yet to discover what I am looking for, I have settled for a favourite to offer my lashes with the much needed darkening and daily boost until my day of finding perfection arrives. Too Faced “Better Than Sex” mascara has provided me with countless long lash days while lasting quite a while even with its daily exercise (application).

Pros: In love with the application brush, the wide set brush allows volume to be created with the lashes and helps avoid clusters and lashes sticking together. I love the shade of the mascara as it isn’t to dark and it the perfect midnight sky black.

Cons: Oh Too Faced, If this con did not exist we would be soul mates. My one and only flaw of this perfect creation is the flakes, when I say flakes I mean the little black mascara flakes that fall just underneath the eye through out the day. These flakes then turn into smudges, so if you don’t have a mirror handy or phone screen to look at your reflection in, it’s not a very pretty sight. The black eye look I feel will never be In, unfortunately.
